Our competition to win a $50 grocery voucher came to a close last month. It was our way of protesting at the Government's GST rise. We were pleased to announce the winner was Maria of Woolston, photographed here receiving her voucher from Ruth Dyson.
The competition was aimed at helping people who would find the increase in GST to 15% particularly hard. It turned out that Maria is currently staying with her daughter while her house has earthquake repairs done - so a well-deserving winner!
